Actor, writer and director AVS is seriously ill. AVS was admitted in a private hospital in the city. After treatment he was discharged home. But sources say that his condition is still critical and he was moved to his son, Pradeep's house in Manikonda.
Few years back AVS developed liver complaints and he was recommended a liver transplant. His daughter had donated her liver to her father and the actor had had a successful liver transplant in city's Global Hospital.
He recovered from it and was alright for some time. AVS didn’t resume his work of acting or writing or hosting TV shows. Nonetheless he was off and on seen in public meetings. In the recent times people who met him said he appeared weak and pale.
