India's very own superhero Krrish, the Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 has gone down history by breaking open day records with an all time high opening of 25.5 crores. And despite getting mixed reviews the movie entered into the elite 100 crore club in its 4 days run which also makes it by far the quickest movie to storm into the club. Krrish 3 also collected Rs 35.91 crores last Monday which is again the highest on a single day by any movie.
Now, if that was not good enough the film also entered the more elite 150 crore club (collecting Rs 152.98 crores) and seems set to break more box office records.
Bollywood’s renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: #Krrish3 crosses ? 150 cr mark in India. Wed: ? 18.11 cr. Total: ? 152.98 cr. FABULOUS.
The long awaited superhero sequel was released on November 1st and while the reviews were not that great the theaters have been witnessing great footfalls so much so that the movie has come up with Krrish merchandise too. The movie was directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan and has Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.
